Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party was an annual event run by Christy Watson and her team at the Renal Cancer Research Fund since 2012. Action Kidney Cancer are delighted to announce that this is now our yearly fundraising event and we will be continuing this legacy and scaling up this fabulous and fun event so that people across the country can participate.
Mad Hatter’s tea parties will be taking place during the summer months, just choose your date!
To host a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party it could not be easier; all you need is some sweet treats and a crazy hat and you are good to go!
There is something for everyone; it can be big or small, in your garden, at a hall or virtually; the choice is yours. Every afternoon tea is enjoyed as a way to help us support families affected by kidney cancer.
Here is a message from Christy:
“The Mad Hatter’s was the flagship event for the Renal Cancer Research Fund. It was a yearly event that was greatly enjoyed by our local community to raise awareness and much needed funds for renal cancer research.
It is an honour that Action Kidney Cancer are continuing this legacy and scaling up this fabulous and fun event so that people across the country can participate.
This event was the highlight of the year for the Renal Cancer Research Fund for eight summers. It was a fun way to raise money for such a good cause while having a fantastic time sharing the day with friends and family. You can be as creative with The Mad Hatter’s as you like or keep it simple. The key is to relax, wear a hat and enjoy your fundraising event.”
