Land’s End to John O’Groats

Land’s End to John O’Groats is a massive challenge, but one that is undertaken by hundreds of people every year.

The distance is a total of 874 miles! You can cover the miles as part of a team or individually. You can do this quickly or at your own pace, and you can walk, run, dance or cycle. If you would like to join or create a team you can walk as many steps as you can, run, dance or cycle and collectively we will get there, as we are stronger together.

All steps taken during the day can be counted, even if you are taking a trip to the shops, going out into the garden, or doing some housework – every step will count towards your goal! You can count your steps and distance walked using a pedometer, an electronic fitness device (e.g., Fitbit) or an app on your phone (remember to take your phone out with you!).

The challenge starts on the 12 May 2022 until the 31 October 2022, so there is plenty of time to complete this challenge and get your family, friends and colleagues involved.

By taking the challenge you will help us with our work supporting kidney cancer research and providing patients and carers with information and support, such as our helpline, community forum and community map.

Our kidney cancer community needs your support now more than ever: could you walk a few miles in our shoes to show your support?
