Welcome

This international survey aims to understand the experiences of people who live with advanced kidney cancer or advanced liver cancer. It is part of a larger project (the PROMs project) organised by the University of Glasgow and the European Oncology Nursing Society. Action Kidney Cancer has been asked to build awareness of the project to encourage kidney cancer patients and healthcare professionals for the surveys.

The first part of the study was to survey people with a diagnosis of advanced kidney or liver cancer. The survey will help us better understand your perspective of living with advanced kidney or liver cancer. We will use this information to train healthcare professionals so that they can offer people like you better care that is tailored to your needs. So, your opinion is key.

The survey for this part of the study is now closed, and we are now moving on to surveying healthcare professionals for their experience of caring for and treating kidney and liver cancer patients – the Delphi study.

The Delphi study for healthcare professionals

The Delphi study aims to identify what nurses should know about advanced kidney cancer and the care and support for people with this disease.

The Delphi is aimed at healthcare professionals working with people with advanced kidney cancer, people affected by advanced kidney cancer, advocates, researchers with an interest in this topic, family members and carers of people with advanced kidney cancer.

The third round of this survey is now closed and we are looking forward to the results of both the patient and the Delphi surveys. We are very grateful for your support with both these surveys.
