Clinical trial experiences
Clinical trials are essential for the development of all new medical treatments, drugs and devices. These need to be vigorously tested to make sure they are safe and effective for treating medical conditions and diseases in humans.
The people on this page have all taken part in a clinical trial and would like to share their experiences with you.
Some are patients, some are carers, all are real stories by real people. We hope by reading their stories it will help you to understand more about clinical trials and whether you would like to take pat in one.

In this video from KindeyCAN (click on the image above), Alison Fielding, Trustee of Action Kidney Cancer and kidney cancer patient, describes the TRACERx study from a patient perspective. More information about the TRACERx study can be found on the TRACERx website.
