This video discussion brings together Professor Jamie Landman, urologist from University of California Irvine Medical Center, Dr Monty Pal, medical oncologist from City of Hope Hospital in California, Professor Michael Staehler from Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich, Germany and Dena Battle, President of KCCure and kidney cancer patient advocate.

This Kidney Cancer Today discussion centres around changes to kidney cancer patient treatment and care in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak in Europe and the USA. Governments and hospital systems are struggling to determine how to continue to provide care when resources are seriously compromised. Dena Battle from KCCure ran a patient survey from March 22 to March 25, asking patients to share their experiences, anxieties, and concerns about managing their cancer diagnosis during the pandemic. The findings from this survey are discussed in this video interview.
