Samra Turajlic, Medical Oncologist, Action Kidney Cancer trustee, and member of the scientific committee of the upcoming European International Kidney Cancer Symposium (IKCS), discusses the forthcoming IKCS meeting being held 22-24 April in Antwerpen, Belgium.

The programme will consist of lectures from the experts in urology and oncology, basic science in kidney cancer, kidney cancer biomarkers, diagnostics, and screening. There will be a Keynote Lecture by Tim O’Brien from Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London. In addition to the oral abstracts, there will be presentations on including the patient voice, the role of radiotherapy in the management of kidney cancer, selecting treatment for non-clear cell kidney cancer, surgery, and medical treatment: Selecting first-line therapy and beyond.

Samra Turajlic, MBBS, MRCP, PhD, is a Medical Oncologist at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and Clinical Science Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute, London.
