A recent study published in Cancer Medicine has identified immune-related genes that correlate with overall survival in patient with papillary renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Analysis of the gene profiles from samples of papillary RCC tumours identified a group of 15 immune-related genes that correlate with survival outcome. These gene profiles may help to personalise treatments for individual patients, such as immunotherapy.
