Prof Powles shares an aspirational perspective from London looking towards the future in terms of COVID-19 and caring for patients with cancer. As of 23rd April, the UK is seeing the backend of the first wave of the virus. Prof Powles suggests that cancer patients can no longer postpone treatments. Barts Cancer Institute is initiating a strategic plan to reinstate cancer patient treatment in a way that keeps healthcare workers and unaffected patients safe.
