The following round table discussion between a panel of doctors (oncologists) discusses the recent advances in how renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is treated.

Although treatment options for RCC have improved dramatically over the past decade, oncologists often face difficult decisions in selecting the right course of treatment for the individual patient, such as; which drug(s) to administer first to an individual patient, the sequence of drugs, and/or the combination of drugs for advanced/recurrent disease. These decisions remain both controversial and challenging for oncologists.
