Patient Information Days

Kidney cancer patients and their families are our top priority. As the only patient led and patient managed charity in the United Kingdom we listen very carefully to what patients and families affected by kidney cancer tell us would help them.

As a result, this year, in partnership with renal cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs) from NHS hospitals across the country, we have launched a programme of Kidney Cancer Patient Information Days.

If you can join us at one of our Patient Information Days, you will have the opportunity to hear from expert speakers sharing  information on a variety of topics, such as managing side effects, supportive care, kidney cancer treatments, benefits of exercise, and the role of nutrition. We also like to ask a patient share their personal experience of living with kidney cancer.

On the day itself, there will be time to chat with other patients and families affected by kidney cancer, and to put your questions to the experts in a relaxed informal atmosphere.

The Patient Information Days are sponsored by Action Kidney Cancer. They are free to attend with food and refreshments provided throughout the day.

Our next Patient Information Day

Our next Patient Information Days will be taking place in Edinburgh and Manchester during the first half of 2026. Please keep an eye on this page and our social media channels for further details.

“Excellent idea, it enables us patients to chat about their cancer and treatments and swap ideas.”

Thank you to everyone who has supported our programme of Patient Information Days. Without your support, they would not be possible.
