Explore the ‘gateway to London’ along the River Thames eastern section. Start the new 50 km looped route at the basecamp by Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks. Head towards Docklands and the Olympic Park, through the City, along the Thames to Greenwich to join the 25 km route. Past the Cutty Sark, a rest stop at the Naval College, around the Greenwich Peninsula, past the O2, Old Royal Naval College, Thames Barrier Park and back to the Woolwich basecamp. A route steeped in history and finished with a BBQ and bar. A great summer bank holiday weekend adventure! Join the 50 km Ultra March and walk 50 km in less than 12 hours with a large group. There is also a 10 km walk option.
