Oncologists have learnt many lessons during the first wave of the pandemic. Some of them are positive, such as changes in patient pathways to simplify and rationalise clinical resources and processes, but others are not. While most of them are still shut down in many countries, there are certain patient behaviour patterns that are keeping people away from these essential health services.
