In this video interview from Practice Update, Dr Eric Jonasch, board member for the International Kidney Cancer Coalition (IKCC), talks about the results from the recent global survey involving nearly 2,000 kidney cancer patients.

Some of the key findings from this survey were; a significant percentage of patients did not know the histology of their disease; only about 30% of patients were ever asked to participate in a clinical trial; and both males and females experienced emotional distress related to their diagnosis in the vast majority of cases.
